    team e braves snow, mud, a brisk northeast wind, not to mention some very bad coffee. Despite the adverse conditions, Molly places 2nd in Age group!

    April 17: Raintree Half Marathon and Five K races

    Ann--sub-eights! Congrats! Jane--a good race! Kim--three mins. faster than Shamrock! Yes! Molly--8:30s! Rachel was a no show, Rachel was a no-show...

    The successes of Ann, Molly, and Kim are directly attibutable to the pre-race feeding, which featured Laura Hines' Famous Artichoke Dip and Giselle's Apple Crumb Cake! Dip Recipe: one can artichoke hearts (chopped and drained), one cup mayonaise, one cup parmesian cheese, one small can of chopped green chiles, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. Bake at 325 and eat.

  • May 2: Emporia Flint Hills Ducks Unlimited Spring Migration Triathlon, Emporia, KS

    • (participants need not shoot a duck to win a medal)
